Albertsons Doubles 101:

Learn how to Rock the Doublers at Albies!

Go to Customer Service, get a Preferred Savings Card:

 

You will ONLY be able to get sale prices with an Albertsons Preferred Card. And you can't use Albertsons Doubles (Twice the Value) Coupons WITHOUT a CARD!.

 

This is also where you accrue Fuel Points, which are discounts on your fuel purchases for every $50 purchase you make, $.05 credit will be added to your next fuel purchase. (AT PARTICIPATING LOCATIONS!)

Albertsons is a GREAT way to save a lot of MONEY!

 

On average of every other week (it's not guaranteed), Albertsons will have "Double Coupons" in the Sunday Newspaper. They normally go from Sunday to Tuesday. BUT rarely we get them during the week which can go from Wed - Tues. (ONE FULL WEEK) But these aren't normal.  You can also find them at your local Albertson's customer service desk.

 

They look like this:

Twice the Value Coupons also known as Double Coupons are store issued coupons that CAN be combined with a manufacturer coupon valued at $1.00 or less. You CAN NOT use a coupon that is more than $1.01 or over! The Twice the Value coupon matches the price of the manufacturer coupon so therefore: doubling your manufacturer coupon!

 

Here's an example:

Use this coupon from insert March 13th Sunday insert.

+

Maruchan Yakisoba $1.00

Use (1)  $.50/1 from 3/13 SS

+ (1) Double = FREE!

In our posts, we refer to Albertsons Twice the Value Coupons as Doubles!

You may only use 3 Twice the value coupons per transaction!

 

That is one sheet per transaction. No more!

If you want to do more than one transaction, you'll need to ask your local Albertsons what their policy is on multiple transactions. Most are willing to let you do 3 or more transactions in a shopping trip.

What do you do if the store is out of stock?

Get a raincheck!! Use it the next time it's in stock. This way you aren't competing with that weeks sale item, and you are sure to get what you want. (Save for the next round of Doublers to get the most bang!)

What about if you want a large quantity of that sale item?

 

Place a special order with your local Albertsons. Usually they are very willing to work with the customer.

 

This makes it easier for them, as you aren't clearing the shelves, leaving the store to deal with angry customers who were looking for that same deal. 

 

Ask your local store what their policies are for special orders and the use of doubles. Make sure you have enough Twice the Value coupons to cover your special order.
