Many of you have asked Esther and I how we get things for cheap. So, we decided we will start up a blog and let you guys know some of our shopping plans so you can get on to it! We will also post our "after" shopping pictures and lists.
The secret to savings:
#1: Shop ONLY when there is a SALE, STORE COUPON, *AND* MANUFACTER'S COUPON. Often we will shop with the addition of: CATALINAS, DOUBLERS, and GIFT CARD DEALS.
(NEVER shop only with a coupon by itself. I tell you: that is a rip-off deal)
#2: Research your options and find out which stores is the cheapest at the end for your purchases. (We will try to do that for you on here!) We LOVE Albertsons! Often times people look at us like we are crazy and say WinCo or Walmart is way cheaper-- WRONG! Winco and Walmart RARELY ever have deals, doublers, gift cards, store coupons, or catalinas! Often times Albertsons is cheaper when you combine all those savings!
#3: Have a couponing buddy (either far away or near) to share your successes and keep eachother motivated!
#4: STOCKPILE! FILL YOUR PANTRY! Buy products at their rock bottom prices and stock up for the next several months. Then you won't have to worry about getting that product at the full price for a while!
#5: Organize... organize... or you will drive yourself crazy!
