So,... what do you think of Albertson's NEW Preferred "Rewards" card? Let us know all of your opinions. :) Thanks!
The next time you go into your Albertson's store you should be able to find a kiosk where you can enter your information in to update your other Preferred Card (the blue one). When you sin up for this program you will get 500 points automatically! If you're lucky- your cashier will give you a coupon to use that will give you an extra 1,000 points on your next purchase!
Here's The ppint system for the "NEW" Albertson's Rewards program:
- Sign up for the Albertsons Rewards Program. Get 500 points!
- For every $1.00 on qualifying purchases spent, you get 10 points on your card.
- For every filled prescription, you get 500 points.
- Once you reach 5,000 points, a coupon worth $5.00 will print out to use on your next purchase.
There will also be card promotions every now and then. The current ones are:
- Earn 500 Bonus Points for filling a prescription
- Get Double Points for buying: Albertsons Chewy Granola Bars
- Get Double Points for buying: Essential Everyday cereal
- Get Double Points for buying: Venus Fusion OR any other Proctor and Gamble Razors
- Get 100 points for buying: Idahoan Boxed Potatoes
All of these points will be added into your card, your rewards will automatically print once your rewards have reached 5,000!-- this $5.00 will print on the bottom of your reciept- kind of like CVS ECB's and RiteAid Up+ Rewards.
Interesting.... What do you think?? Opinions?!?!
Prices at Albertsons still way more than Wal Mart/Winco or even Fred Meyer.. I think of it as a convenience store. I would save more than $5 shoping some where else.
ReplyDeleteIs this before or after coupons? If after coupons, $50 is a long way away. Any expiration for those points? Safeway, it's 30 days from the date of purchase for gas. Not sure about other stores.
ReplyDeleteI posted an updated post regarding this card- seems like it is BEFORE coupons. :)
