Recipe: Crunchy Romaine Strawberry Salad

This is a delicious spring/summer salad! I first tasted it at Esther's house. YUMMY-O!!!!!! Here is how to make this crazy delicious salad!

INGREDIENTS:
1 package ramen noodles
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
8 cups torn romaine lettuce
1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced




1. Crunch the Ramen into little pieces with your hands.



2. Remove the Sauce package and pour the crunched ramen into a skillet pan.




3. Add 1 cup chopped walnuts to the skillet with the ramen noodles.



4. Grab a stick of butter and chop it in half (1/4 cup)



5. Add the butter in the skillet with the ramen and walnuts. Cook it all together 8-10 minutes until it turns somewhat golden. 



6. Chop up all the lettuce, green onions, and strawberries.
(approx 1/2 cup green onions, 8 cups lettuce, and 2 cups strawberries)





7. Now, we are going to start the sauce. Grab a jar or whatever (I only had a pitcher so I used that.) Pour in 1/4 cup vegetable oil.




8. Pour in 1/4 cup SUGAR.



9. Pour in 2 Tablespoons RED WINE VINEGAR.




10. Pour in 1/2 teaspoon SOY SAUCE



11. Blend it all together, set it aside. The sauce will look like this:


12. Add the Romaine Lettuce into a large bowl.



13. Add the green onions on top of the lettuce in the bowl.



14. Add the chopped strawberries on top of the lettuce and green onions in the bowl.



15. Add the cooked ramen/walnuts on top of all that in the bowl.



16. Drizzle the sauce over everything then gently mix everything. Now it is ready to eat! MmmmMMmmmm!
