CVS Green Bag Tag

What is it?

A CVS Green Bag Tag is a tag that you attach to a reusable shopping bag or your key chain and have the cashier scan as you make your purchase at CVS. The cashier will not place your items in the plastic bag.  The tag cost .99 to begin with. You can find it on the counter near the cash machine or at the end cap. If you cannot find it ask a store clerk to help you find one.

What is the benefit of having a tag?
You are helping the environment by not using plastic bags. You must show your Extracare card and the tag for every purchase you make. You will be rewarded $1 ECB after every fourth visit, which is printed at the end of your receipt. It is a great incentive for customers to go green and to help save our Mother Earth.
