Recipe: Homemade Pie Crust

Recipe:
Homemade Pie Crust!

Crust Ingredients:
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup cold butter
7 to 8 tablespoons cold water

THE DIRECTIONS:
#1: Sift 2 1/2 cups flour and pour it in a mixer. (KitchenAid works the best)

#2: Add 1 TBSP Sugar and 1 TSP Salt.

#3: Cut 1 cup (2 sticks) butter and melt it a tiny bit before adding it to the bowl.

#4: Mix it until it looks like little crumbs. If you need to, use a spatula or a spoon to take the sticky flour off the sides.

#5: Slowly add 7-8 TBSP water. Your batter will become a dough!

#6: Shape your dough into 2 separate balls (one bigger than the other) and wrap in a plastic wrap. Put it in the refridgeator for about 30 minutes.

#7: Spread flour on a surface that you are going to roll on. (Make sure it is a clean surface.. LOL)

#8: Roll the bigger dough about 1/4inch thick and make sure it is big enough to fit in your pie pan.  (the smaller dough is for the top of the pie.

#9: Carefully put the rolled out dough into your pie shell and pretty up the edges in any way you would like.

TA-DA! You can use this recipe for any pies. (Apple Pie coming up!)
